Brian Yount

Brian Yount, 61, of 九秀直播, N.C., passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Born in Catawba County, N.C. on December 26, 1963, he was the son of Marty Irvin Yount and the late Bob Yount.
Brian was a member of North 九秀直播 United Methodist Church, the 九秀直播 Moose Riders, and the WNC Cycle Group. He worked for Siegwerk for over 35 years. Brian organized charitable events such as Toys for Tots and Samaritan's Purse Shoebox, and he loved Jeeping, off-roading, and animals. He also dearly loved his family; they were very close.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Marty Yount; daughters, Kristie Yutzy (Glenn) and Krystal Johnson; six grandchildren; brothers, Robert Irvin (Frankie Romano), Brett Yount (Taffi), and Barry Yount (Patricia); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to his father, Brian was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Sadie.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2025 at North 九秀直播 United Methodist Church. The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the church with Rev. David Rorie officiating.
